Day 1 Arrival in Lombok - Suranadi
Arrive at Ampenan airport or Lembar harbour, meet and transfer to Suranadi hotel with sightseeing en-route, drive through Ampenan, Mataram and Cakranegara city with stop at Mayura floating hall and Meru temple. Dinner and overnight at Suranadi hotel.

Day 2 Suranadi - Sendang Gile Waterfall ( B )
After breakfast at hotel drive to Pusuk monkey forest, over the valley down to Lombok west coast, stop at some traditional villages. Dinner and overnight at guest house at Sendang Gila with nice view of mount Rinjani at the background.

Day 3 Sendang Gile - Tetebatu ( B )
After breakfast, drive to northern coast of Lombok, this area relatively drier, mountaneous landscapes, some little hust, seasonal crops and vegetation overseen, halfway stop at Masbagik pottery village and Loyok bamboo handicrafts. Overnight at guest house at Tetebatu.

Day 4 Tetebatu - Kuta ( B )
After breakfast drive down to southern coast to the country of Sasak ethnic with en-route stop at Tanjung Luar, the biggest fishermen village, and Rambitan the Sasak traditional village. Overnight at hotel in Kuta.

Day 5 Kuta - Sengigi ( B )
After breakfast proceed to west Lombok with en-route stop at Penujak pottery village, Sukarare handweaving village, Narmada summer palace and Lingsar unique temple. Overnight at Senggigi beach.

Day 6 Senggigi - Gili Air ( B )
After breakfast drive through coastline passing fantastique panorama up to Bangsal harbour. By outrigger boat sail to Gili Air island for snorkeling or just sunbathing. Overnight at Gili Indah Cottage.

Day 7 Gili Air - Airport ( B )
After breakfast return to Lombok by boat and direct transfer to Ampenan airport or Lembar harbour for your onward flight.

Inclusion Tours and transfers in air conditioned mini van with tour guide speaks one of these English, German, Italian, French, and Japanese, Meal as indicated on itinerary with B for breakfast, L for lunch, and D for dinner, Admission and donation fees at the places of visits, Accommodation/lodging/guest houses on the places where overnight is necessary.

Suranadi Hotel: Shower, bath tub, hot and cold water, is a non star accommodation, Pondok Senaru guest house at Sendang Gila facilitated with shower only, as it is a simple guest house, just for sleeping and rest, Wisma Soejono at Tetebatu facilitated with hot and cold water shower, no air conditioner, just for rest and sleep, Kuta Indah hotel at Kuta facilitated with air conditioner, shower, and a non star hotel.

The rates are valid until 31 October 2010. Price is per person inclding full board meals. Accommodation is budget class, at least one star or similar exept on the country side it will be the best available hotel yet all accommodation in the country side are non star rating. The island of Lombok which is separated by sea of 4 hours cruise by ferry boat is almost having the same size as Bali. Just it is as Bali the surface of the island is marked with high peak known as mount Rinjani with the height of 3776 meters above sea level. The shape of the island like molusca with the top of concentrated highland gives different condition compared to Bali where mountain are like making row from west to east. Lombok has no record of volcanic eruption remembered by the history, except the fact that mount Rinjani left the trace of tremendous eruption thousands of years ago such as the caldera of the mountain known as Segara Anakan which is now a lake. The Hindu of Lombok at the certain day in a year making a special ritual to the peak of the mountain. In the course of history Lombok has always got influence from Bali, even during 16th and the turn of 18th century Lombok was under control of Karangasem kingdom a kingdom on the eastern tip of Bali island. The annexation ofthe island gave strong influence of Balinese tradition as proved by the heritages on the west and southern parts of the island.

Some interesting places leaving the influence of Balinese traditionwhich are now as the main interest of travelling to Lombok are Mayura Water temple, Suranadi Water Castle, Rinjani mountain with its ritual. All man made temples are located around the capital city of Mataram. Natural beauty such as beaches, Lombok has Senggigi on the west facing Bali and just like Bali it has also Kuta beach on the south. These two beaches are already devlopped as resorts with many tourist facilities.

In the field of daily life the people of Lombok known as Sasak who were ever supervised by Bali develope heir own art such as architeture, basketry, and earthenware. This art andhandicraft are of great interest of Lombok island.
