Dieng Plateau reminds us of the mountain area of east Java that is Tengger highland with its beautiful Bromo crater. Dieng is one of the historical evidences of Indonesia that during 7th century there had been a great kingdom in central Java, starting Dieng, then appear Borobudur, Prambanan and various smaller constructions as the most valuable historical evidences of Indonesia.
Return back to Yogyakarta with stops and visits to the
magnificent monument of Borobudur temple and Second
small Hindu temple closed by the Pawon temple is Mend

It is started by the
discovery of Hindu inscription on east Kalimantan called Kutai. From here is known that during 4th
century Indonesia has been governed by a kingdom that connect the archipelago to the main centers of
settlement such as Java, sumatra and Bali. The proof from the past in Kalimantan timur until now is
still preserve well in the museum of Mulawarman, Tenggarong city, the capital of Kabupaten Kutai Kerta
Negara. The kingdom was named also Kerta Negara. While just a half decade later an inscription found at
the location now called Bekasi near Jakarta city that the during 4th century and half there is a kingdom
called Taruma Negara, and the location is called Baga Sasi which changed into Bekasi and Taruma is
probably the river of Citarum now. Later during 7th century Dieng in central Java appear as the 3rd
proof of the existence of Indonesia. After the discovery of Dieng plateau ruins of Hindu temple,
consecutive discovery were happened such as the disclosing of Borobudur, Pramabanan, Plaosan, Sewu, and
many others. The discovery also happened in Bali such as various ancient sites in Pejeng area and along
the river of Petanu. All this discovery showing similar characteristics both in the spiritual and
physical aspects. |
