The tour can be started at 8am departing from the hotel directly to the temple. The trip takes around 45 minutes and will drop the visitor on the parking area before the temple. From the parking area one has to walk around 300 meters to reach the hill where the temple is standing in pride. Starting from the first gallery one see one by one panels with carving of bas relief and some stone sculptures up to the last gallery where the sculptures of the Bodhistwa are plenty in the stupa and outside stupa. An old inventory said the the temple recorded 500 statues in all the area. From the temple the surrounding and the Merapi volcano give very beautiful panorama.
