Bali has many places to offer as beach holiday destinations such as Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Jimbaran, Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Krobokan, Candidasa, Lovina and more. Sanur is one of the first beach destination developed and promoted as the tourist destination with the construction of the first five deluxe hotel which is until today still proudly standing on the beach of Sanur. The constrution was done in 1965 designed to host classy travellers from all over the countries. Although Sanur area has been the first and the oldest destination until today, the vague spirit of Bali is still being preserved. The array of hotels along the sunrise beach including various hotels on the inner part of the area some original villages live from ancient time are still can be seen. The main beach of Sanur starting from Grand Bali Beach hotel south to the corner up to the beach of Merta Sari are full with various type of hotel that having direct access to the beach. All Sanur hotels on the beach separated by the main beach road called Jalan Danau Tamblingan leading from the cross road of Sanur town up to the southern corner of the area. Toward the inner part of the area still can be found some hotels besides various shopping arrays along the west side of the road.

Some hotels in Sanur are really historic for the tourism in Bali beside current Inna Grand Bali Beach there was ever a deluxe expensive hotel such as Tanjung Sari, Sanur Beach Hotel which was before known as Hotel Garuda and Bali Hyatt. All of these hotels in Sanur are still can be booked and got their new dresses. It is probably a nostalgic hotels for those traveling to Bali decades ago. At once now can enjoy the old experience and new experience as there are some hotels in Sanur also brand new or newly built as development of room needs in 1990s. One thing for Sanur is that the ambiance is really still pleasing with high shaded place by high and old age trees which keeps the magic of Sanur still radiating.
