Keeping pace with the increasing number of travelers to Bali, land transport is the main requirements to organize the tour and movable programs, both transfer and sightseeing in Bali. Bali has no transport in the type of train or rail. Local government has never see this type of transport as effective means for the future of Bali, may be when a visionary Balinese one day be a leader would plan it. Today type of transportation in Bali can be classified as public transport for local people, tourist transport and private transport simply this three types can be seen from the color of its registration number plate color. Tourist transport has either black and yellow with the body printed " Pariwisata" For local public transport with plate color is yellow. The problem in Bali for local public transport is managed and owned by private, not by government, so it is not in good standard physical or service, and this is a source of problem for traffic within the city and surrounding. Due to bad quality of local public transport, person take all effort to own personal car which arising the problem of traffic congestion, at least a person will definitely own motor bike, even school children ride motorbike to go and back school. This is a great concern on situation of Bali. Local public transport although they have certain route of transfer but it was organized by themselves and the society of transport, since the beginning government involvement was not exist, that was why it is not good route, there are some important places can not reached by local public transport. The only city in Bali with their good managed local transport is Negara town, where school children, public enjoy the cheap and coverable distance for their daily life and beside local people also other people from outside Negara can use this transport. The worse situation of traffic can be found in Denpasar city, there are a great number of traffic flows on every road, but one can never find public transport to certain areas, only to a limited station and halts. It is quiet different for tourist transport which is mostly hired on charter or package, so it is more easy and its mobility is much higher. Land transport is classified into some categories based on its use. For public transport is given a plate with yellow back ground for its registration number, the cars used by government staff is given red color, the cars used by army with green color, and the cars used by private and car hire with black color.
