Puri Bagus Jati Resort is located on the place after the name of "Banjar Jati" on a middle highland around 15 kms or 15 minutes drive from Ubud town. The villas is a perfect hide away on a seclusion and deep villages on a river slope with wide gorges views. The area of Puri Bagus Jati Resort is under administrative area of Payangan, and village of Taro. Taro's territory has been associated with myth and magic story, and the existence of typical white bull. According to the myth about people and land of taro, in the past were living many magic physicians which invisible power is believed to have been preserved and still exists. Puri Bagus Jati Resort is nestled or hill's slope among green wide gorges, high plantations, and coffee farming. It looks that the place like encircled by jungles and gorges the hill's slop runs at an elevation around 65 degrees, facing a steep slope some with steep drop across the river's gorges. The surrounding is a highland farming with cultivation of cacaos, salak (snake fruit like skin), oranges, bananas, papayas, avocados, flowers, vegetables, corn, coffees, bamboos, and others. If we sit with stillness on the balcony, or villa, or lobby's corner, we can hear many kinds of birds' singing. Steps are laid out to connect between places, terraces are cut out from original nature's topography protecting super imposed steps. For older people for sure it would be a hard trek from lobby to bungalows. Puri Bagus Jati Resort has 8 private villas. All villas at Puri Bagus Jati are constructed in round shape with thatched roofs, beautifully crafted furniture, good textiles, cherished antiques.

Bedroom around 8 x 8 sq meters, brown wooden floor, white washed wall, and most of front wall is covered with glass, so when the curtain is rolled aside is the full view of the front.
Balcony like a hanging altar, constructed in small wooden loges, brown colors, facing rising sun, and river's gorges has one table, 2 wooden chairs, plus 2 stretching chairs.
