The Hotel Villa Lumbung is a small exotic village surrounded by masterly design tropical gardens of approximately 20,000 square meters. The special shape of the grass-roof villas is derived from the typical Balinese lumbung. The upper part of this center hut of each family compound serves as a rice barn, while the lower floor-an elevated sitting area (Bale) is used as a meeting place. Transformed this concept into a unique design of our guest rooms. While the dome shaped grass roof-top of the upper floors conveys a spacious and tropical feeling, the ground floor's Bale is made into a cozy retreat next to the gardens. The lobby, restaurant and shopping area are designed to follow the Lumbung concept; a large-scale 2-level swimming pool with a waterfall, cave, island and bridges, bubble pool and connecting lotus ponds fulfills everyone's fantasies.

The idea to built the Hotel Villa Lumbung originated from the need to find the right place for close friends, who make the long journey from the west, and who wish to find the best accommodation with an exotic flair. There are perfect places in Bali, unfortunately, out of most people's price range. Less expensive places are not so perfect; so this is our approach to reach the heights of hospitality and comfort at an affordable price. To make it economically viable, it can't be for our friends only.

Each Superior Bungalow at Hotel Villa Lumbung has twin or double beds surrounded by masterly designed tropical garden and a large private terrace and outdoor "Bale" pavilion. All garden floor can only accommodate single or double occupancy and /or family with small children not requiring extra bed. The bale is located outside adjacent to the terrace, so it can be used only for day bed for relax. Room size is 53 square meters, 7 rooms with garden view, and 2 rooms with pool view.

Deluxe Bungalow
Each deluxe bungalow at Hotel Villa Lumbung has twin or double beds, a private balcony, with great view and in-door "Bale" can accommodate single, double/twin and /or triple occupancy as well as family with children. As the bale is inside and integrated with the room, it can be used as day bed and bed for children or third person, in this case bed sheets and pillows will be provided. 12 rooms with garden view, and 2 rooms with pool view.

Deluxe Family Bungalow
Each Deluxe Family Bungalow at Hotel Villa Lumbung has twin or double beds, a large garden bathroom with separate shower and bath, a large private terrace, surrounded by masterly designed lush tropical gardens, the bale or day bed is inside as part of room, and can be used as bed for children or extra person. Room size is 65 square meters. 5 rooms all, and 3 rooms are with fully equipped kitchen.

Three bed-room Deluxe Villa
Three bed-room deluxe villa at Hotel Villa Lumbung is suitable for family, spacious air condition living area, including kitchenette's tools, TV, in room safe for master and second bedroom only. 2 units with the size of 200 square meters with maximum capacity 6 persons. Main bedroom located at ground floor, with king size bed, overlooking private walled garden and attached bathroom with open air shower, in-room safe and spacious wardrobe. 2nd Floor bedroom has Hollywood twin bed with attached bathroom and shower, in room safe and spacious wardrobe. 3rd Floor bedroom has a double bed and shares the same entrance and bathroom with 2nd floor room.
