Location
The Siddhartha Dive Resort and Spa is situated directly on the beach in the small village of Kubu on Bali's north-east coast, far from all the commercial tourism. The 30 bungalows and villas blend in perfectly with the enormous 2.66 hectare surrounding terraced landscape. The stunningly beautiful tropical garden has been, knowledgeably and with great attention to detail, created around the existing palm trees and natural vegetation. Furthermore, there is more than 180m of beachfront. And practically all the bungalows have an ocean view, thanks to the slightly sloping landscape. The Siddhartha Dive Resort and Spa is another innovation of Werner Lau in Bali. It all started with the opening of his diving centers at the Pondok Sari and Matahari back in 2003. Then in 2006 came the Alam Anda, his own hotel, which has made Werner Lau a legend in Bali. Now, with the opening of the new Siddhartha Dive and Spa Resort, the Lau group has increased the selection of resorts from which to choose in Bali. Stefan Brand and Barbara Ebel, Werner's "partners in crime" for many years, are not only his business partners in this new venture but will also be managing the diving center. The resort has been designed and set up with considerable contribution from Wolfram Siegmeth. "Sigi" is also the person who was responsible for the complete renovation of the Alam Anda. Siddhartha is the ancient name for Buddha and means something like "To become enlightened". For us, this is also true of our experience. Superior Bungalows, Two of the 7 Superior Bungalows are inter-leading and are therefore particularly suitable for families. Deluxe Bungalows, These 18 bungalows offer including terrace a generously large living space of approximately 55sqm and are modern and luxuriously furnished. Various features in the style in which it is designed are a continuous reminder that one is in Bali. These bungalows are situated far apart from each other within a large, tropical garden - in which there are ponds, fountains and of course, statues of the Balinese Gods - an area of more than 26 000sqm. The shade provided by the numerous coconut trees and various other species of trees in the garden, make it an ideal place to relax. Almost all the bungalows have a view of the ocean. Oceanfront Deluxe Bungalows, These 5 luxury bungalows are situated in an absolutely prime location directly on the beach. The extremely spacious 65sqm living area, including terrace, modern facilities and interior decoration in the classic Balinese style, gives it a unique feeling of being at home.
