Taj Mahal is the palace strongly influenced by Arab, closely similar to architecture found in ancient Afganistan which is also expressing the structure of a mosque in general. The palace is contructed with white marble forming a stunning view at the dawn and sunset. Books on history mention that the palace of Taj was built by famous Delhi Emperor Shah Jehan to be dedicated to his beloved wife queen Muntaz Mahal. The location of this beutiful palace is in the city of Agra a city between New Delhi and Jaipur. The Emperor was a Muslim ruler from the Mogul line, and is well known that the palace of Taj is a mausoleum and Shah Jehan himself also engraved here.

No information is found until 320 BC when a kingdom ruled by a dynasty called Maurya reached his golden periode under Ashoka Maurya 273 to 232 BC. During Ahoka reign Buddhism also got a respectable position in the empire after a great disaster to their devotees. From 320 to 5th Century AD, appeared the rule of Gupta dysnasty, known as the classical age of India when art developed well on the basis of realism supra human. Without supra human element it can be compared with Greece art. The influence of this kingdom especially on the field of Hinduism and Buddhism can be found far reaching areas such as Asia, yet no information could be revealed weather the influence was just of trades or missionaries on religion or ever politically expanded power of the empire. Most theories said the arrival of Indian influence to far Asia areas was following the trade activities. During the reign of Skanda Gupta at 5th century AD repeated invasions were recorded by Huns tribe which caused the fall of the dynasty.

The era from 5th to 13th century AD is known as the era of Indian political turmoil, of repeated shifting borders due to the various invasions and intruders from other tribes. In 1205 Islam spreaded to India and established Delhi kingdom which soon absorbed the various Hindu kingdoms. But one of the strongest was Chola Mandala and Yadavas dynasty, especially the Chola still had the capability to extend their power up to south east Asia. A record from Chinese missionary mentioned that Sriwijaya kingdom in Sumatra Indonesia was attached by Chola Mandala in 1025. Situation outside India had changed fast, The Mongol under Emperor Gengis Khan and his famous general Subedei and Jebe had plundered and coloninzed most of the kingdoms on northern area of Himalayas and on the west up to the Muslim kingom of present Afganistan, Iran even up to Ukraine under Russian Empire. The capital city of Afgan at Bukhara was made center of Mongol and the Khwarizm also defeated in 1221. The Mongol was not satisfied only to overrun the vast area that they subdued, but heading south under one of the prince called Babur and attached Delhi kingdom until it was fallen to the hand of Mongol. The Mongol continue to run Delhi kingdom until 17th century. One of the Mongol Emperor is known as Shah Jehan who built great beautiful edifice of Taj Mahal between 1628 to 1648. It was said that their architects were brought from Bagdad, Shiraz, and Bukahara. The whole mauseleum is decorated by inlaid design of flowery pattern and panel of islamic decorations. Build on big complex, behind is Januma river as background, with the access of main gate, garden and wide pool which giving reflection in the water to the edifice, looks up side down. In the complex are also built mosque, and some splendid buildings like palace. A whole complex reflects the most beautiful architecture human being has made. In the past Islam created such tremendous art beside Taj Mahal one can admire also Aya Sofia mosque in Istanbul ( in the past : Constantinopel ), and Granada mosque in Spain ( now Church ).

Shah Jehan was died in 1666, when European colonies already established in south India such as Goa and Pondichery ports. Since then Indian continent was broken into pieces each given to princely state and manipulated on self protection by British colony until a large part under the colony.
